The airport is approximately 100-acre general aviation airport facility located in Middlefield, Ohio serving single and light twin-engine aircraft. It is publicly owned and operated by the Geauga County Airport Authority and Geauga Board of County Commissioners. The airport authority’s mission is to manage the airport in a fashion that will improve and promote general aviation in Geauga County as well as materially benefit the local economy.
Geauga County Airport is ideally located in Middlefield, Ohio on SR 608, 1 miles south of the center of the Village of Middlefield. The Industrial Parkway is just to the north and KraftMaid to the south. Business aircraft visit the airport regularly including large twin engine aircraft and small jet aircraft. We have a courtesy car available-first come, first served basis
Current facilities include one runway 3500' long by 65' wide. Runway numbers are 11 on the west end and 29 on the east end. Three T-hangars, three community hangars, air ambulance living quarters, office rental space, a pilot lounge and restroom facilities make up the buildings on the site. The airport identifier is 7G8. There are currently 50 based aircraft on the field including 2 twin-engine aircraft, 6 gliders, 1 helicopter and 41 single-engine aircraft.
